An experienced cello teacher with over a decade of teaching, my students have won prizes in numerous competitions including the United States International Music Competition, the Korean-American Music Supporters' Association Competition, the Music Teachers Association of California VOCE Competition (branch and state), the United States Open Music Competition, the American String Teachers Association S Competition, the SF International Innovative Music Competition, Pleasanton Youth Excellence in the Arts, ENKOR Competition, Junior Bach Festival, King's Peak Music Competition, North California Young Talents Music Competition, and many more. I served as Jonathan Koh’s Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley and at Mr. Koh’s private studio while maintaining my own private studio of over forty students. During my graduate program in Indiana, I took courses in cello pedagogy and was a guest artist in a teaching residency at several schools in Florida. Upon returning to California, I began teaching in my current studio in Pleasanton.
